Five-time world champion Jacqui Cooper represented Australia in the sport of Aerial Skiing for 20 years and is a number one fan of skiing SilverStar. From five-time world champion to family of five, Jacqui’s spirit and enthusiasm for snow sports has only increased. But on her next venture to the slopes, she plans to bring along some extra cargo…!
“As a family we haven’t been ready to take an overseas snow trip until now” Cooper says. The former world champion is mother to 4-year-old twins and a 6-year-old and says “the kids were too young to travel and appreciate what would be on offer at the other end”.
Jacqui Cooper is no stranger to visiting international ski resorts having represented Australia in 139 World Cup events, nine World Championships, as well as gaining selection for five Winter Olympics teams. During the Australian winter season Jacqui and her family ski at their local resort, Mt Buller – “There are a lot of similarities between (Mt Buller and SilverStar) the resorts; they have a wonderful village atmosphere and are very kid-friendly”.
