What’s New at Panorama Mountain Resort

Panorama Mountain Resort has flown under the radar for years with many choosing to ski other British Columbia ski destinations. But now it’s bigger and better than ever! Offering some of British Columbia’s best skiing and boarding, one of the longest verticals in North America and did we mention no crowds….If Panorama isn’t already on your bucket list then it is well worth adding.

Panorama is continuing to invest significantly into the resort to make it better than ever. Here is what is new and notable.

Monster Terrain Expansion

This past season saw the opening of another 128 acres in Taynton Bowl’s Monster area, bringing another 4 new double-black diamond runs to Panorama Mountain Resort. This expansive double black bowl is accessible by a rather long boot pack or on weekends in the Monster Snowcat.

Did someone say Canada’s cheapest cat skiing? A single ride is just CA$15 ride or 4 rides for CA$49. It is not a fully guided snowcat experience, think of it as an Uber on the snow to some awesome big mountain terrain.

The Monster X is known as a ‘beastly snowcat’ that’s roomy enough to take a dozen powder hunters.

New Dining Experience
Alto Kitchen & Bar

While the skiing/riding is important, so is the food! Foodies will love the 2 new restaurants, Alto Kitchen & Bar and Fireside Café & Lounge that Panorama Mountain Resort has on offer.

Alto’s serves up rustic Italian style pizza from its striking Forno Bravo oven, the centrepiece of the restaurant, along with an Italian inspired menu. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and takeaway pizza.

Fireside Café & Lounge serves up locally roasted coffee and homemade daily baked goods by day and by night, transforms into a stylish Après spot serving wine and charcuterie.

Additionally, Panorama also has the super cool snowcat food-truck, Snowlicious Mobile Kitchen (the first in Canada) serving up hot food and cold beer right on the slopes. Perfect for lunch on the go, in between laps in the Taynton Bowl.

Family Friendly Resort

The resort is also renowned for being family and child friendly. The Panorama Snow School provides care for the younger ones, while PanoKids assists children in their first attempts at skiing, with various courses offered. Each child is also outfitted with a Flaik transmitter so that parents can know where their children are during the ski day. A tubing run and the Panorama Springs pools are also highlights for children and families.

And if that’s not enough, Panorama is offering an incredible 50% off Early Bird deals for the 2021 season, making it one of the most affordable ski resorts on offer, and was also Travelplan’s highest growth visited resort last season. There is a Panorama ‘Peace of Mind’ booking guarantee in place with a 100% refund guarantee on many properties, for bookings made by 30th November.
