Dog Sledding
Live the dream of feeling the raw power of Alaskan Huskies pulling the sled through the Canadian Winter Wonderland that is the backcountry of Sun Peaks Mountain Resort. This exhilarating tour is something you’ll want to experience at least once as you’re taken on a magical trip through almost enchanted lands.
Guided Ice Fishing
Spend an afternoon or evening on a fully-guided ice fishing adventure with Elevated Fishing Adventures. This experience is ultimately Canadian, you will have the opportunity to walk across a frozen lake, drill a hole into ice, peer down and see Rainbow Trout swimming as they cruise around the lures dangling below. Try your luck at catching a few of the hard-fighting and great tasting wild Rainbow Trout.
Fondue Dinner & Starlight Descent
Go for a twilight ride up to the newly renovated Sunburst Bar + Eatery mid-mountain restaurant for a fondue dinner and live music. After a delicious Swiss dining experience, make your way down the lantern-lit five-mile ski run glittering in the moonlight. This is a must-do activity at the resort!
Snowmobiling
If you’re a thrill seeker you’re going to want to try snowmobiling at Sun Peaks. The tours take you on a ride through the backcountry where you’ll get to ride on trails, past open frozen lakes, and clear meadows.
